About Oni Sellers-Roberts


Oni Sellers-Roberts Oni Sellers-Roberts is a nationally acclaimed interior designer and celebrated artist and lives in Houston, Texas.

Her colorful, eclectic and old world interiors and large Mediterranean impressionists oil paintings have appeared in "Architectural Digest". Recently, she was the recipient of a 2009 Houston Award... Interior Design Division.

In addition to her business acumen, Oni is also an accomplished concert vocalist and recording artist, a published composer with several solo albums to her credit. She has travelled extensively through the US and abroad for concert appearances and as a public speaker. In 1989 Oni was nominated to sing the national anthem at the Presidential Inauguration of George Herbert Walker Bush. During the height of her music career she was featured regularly at the Crystal Cathedral Singles Ministry in Garden Grove, California. Oni also co-hosted a Houston based community forum television talk show that led in viewer ratings.

Deep Spiritual roots...


Oni was born in Greenville, South Carolina, into a family of ministers, Bible scholars, and gospel singers which included, her grandfather, M.E.Madden, an uncle and cousins. Her father, the Reverend Hugh Sellers, was an evangelist who later became a pastor. As a child prodigy, excelling as a vocal soloist, Oni ministered beside her father until she moved to Texas where she attended Southwestern Assemblies of God University.

The Sellers-Madden legacy continues today through the gifting of Oni and her cousins... who server as pastors, evangeliss, Bible teachers and fine arts masters around the nation.
